Well-being describes our happiness, confidence, physical condition & general outlook on life. It’s about feeling good & taking care of yourself; responsibilities that can often be neglected when juggling the rigorous demands of everyday living in the 21st century.
The subject of well-being has broad implications for quality of life, how we choose to live, from a philosophical & fulfilment viewpoint & in some cases potentially how long we live & whether we enjoy health & happiness, or suffer stress, anxiety & illness.
This type of stress can also occur when people feel unable to cope with work demands, or environment & can result in decreased productivity & reduction in physical, or mental health. Statistics show stress is increasing in people's lives, especially at this time with the lock down that's occurring right now.
So here's an exercises to help release. Enjoy.
Exercise in letting go:
Get comfortable.
Begin to relax your body.
As breath in relax and as breath out, release all tension.
Your head needs to be relaxed while doing this exercise, so let your scalp relax, your face relax, your shoulders, tongue and throat relax.
Let your arms and your hands relax.
Let your back, your stomach and pelvis relax.
Let your breathing be at peace as relax your legs and feet.
Is there a change in your body since you began this exercise?
Notice how much you are holding on to - If you are holding with body, you’re holding with mind too.
In this relaxed, comfortable position say to self:
I am willing to let go.
I release, I let go.
I release all tension
I release all fear
I release all anger
I release all guilt
I release all sadness
I let go of old limitations
I let go and I am at peace.
I at peace with myself
I am at peace with the process of life and I am safe.
Repeat this a few times and feel the ease at letting go each time.
Notice letting go and the changes it brings.
You can do this at any time such as when you feel difficulties coming in and the more you do it, the more changes will happen.
In time, allow this to be part of your day.
Then any affirmations you do can take place quicker.
The more you do this, the more the changes can take place.
There’s no need for us to struggle. ANON
